How to Book

Getting Started

Booking a ride with Bramhall Cars is as easy as sending a WhatsApp message. No app to download, no account to create.

1. Open WhatsApp on your phone
2. Send any message to our number: 0161 570 0444
3. You'll receive a welcome message and be asked for your pickup location

Setting Your Pickup

There are three ways to tell us where you are:

Option 1: Share Your Live Location (Fastest)

1. Tap the 📎 attachment button in WhatsApp
2. Select Location
3. Choose Share live location
4. We'll confirm your address automatically

Option 2: Type a Postcode

Include your house number for the most accurate pickup: 9 SK7 1XX

Or just the postcode and we'll ask for your house number: SK7 1XX

Option 3: Type a Business Name

Just type the name and we'll find it: Costa Coffee or B&Q

If we find multiple locations, you'll be shown a numbered list. Just reply with the number.

Option 4: Type a Street Name

Type a street name and we'll find it: Manor Road

We'll confirm the street and ask for your house number to pinpoint the exact pickup location.

Choosing Your Destination

Once your pickup is confirmed, we'll ask where you'd like to go. Use the same methods — postcode, address, or business name.

You'll be shown the destination and asked to confirm by tapping the YES button.

If the destination isn't right, just type the correct one instead.

Confirming & Paying

After you set your destination, you'll see a price quote showing:

Tap the CONFIRM button to book, or CANCEL if you've changed your mind.

Once confirmed, we'll find you the nearest available driver. You'll receive a message when a driver accepts with their name, car details, and registration number.

Live Tracking

Once a driver is on their way, you'll receive a live tracking link. Tap it to see:

1. Your driver's location moving on a map in real time
2. Estimated arrival time counting down
3. Driver's name, photo, car details, and registration number

The tracking continues throughout your journey — from pickup to drop-off.

Booking Ahead

Need a ride at a specific time? Use our reserve booking feature.

1. Type RESERVE when prompted
2. Enter the date (e.g. tomorrow, Friday, or 15/04)
3. Enter the time (e.g. 8:30am or 14:00)
4. Set your pickup and destination as normal
5. Confirm the booking

Your booking will be sent to drivers closer to the pickup time. You'll receive a confirmation when a driver accepts.

Saved Locations

Save your frequent pickup and destination addresses so you can book even faster next time.

Type SAVED to manage your saved locations. You can add nicknames like "Home", "Work", or "Gym" and use them instead of typing the full address every time.
